Clancyjames wins 2010 MLA Queensland Red Meat Retailer of the Year Award |

Clancyjames has been recognised as being a leader in the area of red meat retailing. It was awarded the 2010 MLA Queesland Red Meat Retailer of the Year Award at the recent meat industry dinner. David and Andrea Bobbermen were awarded the prize by Mr Don Heatley, Chairman of Meat and Livestock Australia.

Clancyjames's Lamb Curry Pie has been placed third at the 2010 Brisbane Exhibition. This competition is essentually the State Final.
Clancyjames also makes a Beef and Red Wine Pie as well as a Chicken Pie.

Clancyjames' family sized Curry Lamb Pie has been awarded a GOLD medal at the AMIC Butchers Choice Award for the Brisbane Area. In the same competition its Chunky Beef and Red Wine Pie earned the Silver Medal.
In the Northern Brisbane Region Regional Sausage King Competition, Clancyjames's Continental (Authentic Italian Sausage) earned a Silver Medal.
Pies and sausages are available at all of our stores.

Clancyjames Taringa to be re-furbished in 2010 |

Clancyjames's Taringa will be closed in January 2010 for re-furbishment. The store will re-open in early February 2010 after being totally rebuilt. After the re-furbishment Taringa will have almost twice the display area for its refrigerated product and be more open plan.

Clancyjames's Yeronga store has been notified that it is a finalist in the 2009 Quest Business Achievers Awards for the City South News circulation area of Brisbane.
The Business Achievers Awards were initiated in 1994 by Quest Community Newspapers to recognise and reward excellence in business.

Clancyjames has been recognised by its industry peers as being a leader in the area of red meat innovation. It was awarded the 2009 Australian Meat Industry Council "Innovation of Red Meat" Award at the recent meat industry dinner. David and Andrea Bobbermen were awarded the prize by Mr Glen Burke, Queensland Manager for Meat and Livestock Australia.
In speaking after being awarded the accolade, David Bobbermen said that this was a great testiment to the professionalion of the Clancyjames Team. "We would prefer to have a failure than no experiment at all" he said.

Clancyjames to open a new store at The Village Markets, No1 Airport Drive |

Clancyjames has committed to opening a its third store at The Village Markets, No 1 Airport Drive. Opening date for this store is early 2009.
Located in the Airport 'CBD', a new convenience based shopping centre has been developed by Brisbane Airport Corporation to cater for workers in the area as well as travellers, shoppers to the precint which includes DFO and nearby residents. It contains a number of quality specialty shops amd anchored by Woolworths and Dan Murphys.

Due to demand leading up to Christmas, Clancyjames Yeronga has extended its trading hours on Saturday and Sunday.
- On Saturdays,Clancyjames Yeronga is now open from 7:00 am until 5:30pm
- On Sundays,Clancyjames Yeronga is now open from 8:00 am until 4:00pm
